I love making New Years black-eyed pea dip, which is labor intensive chopping large amounts, colors and varieties of hot chili peppers', green onions,garlic, and aromatics for a large batch of this dip, that all my friends love to eat. Black-eyed peas consumed on New Years guarantees a prosperous New Year. This cleaver makes quick work in the preparition, without wearing out my arm. Feels right in my hand

Product has good weight and balance. Using it mainly for chopping up pork shoulder for carnitas or pulled pork.

Great for cutting meat

I needed this knife to cut through some Turkey Wings and it worked great.
