Change in double duty inactive ingredients
Change in formula inactive ingredients leaves a different smell. This is too bad. Please Jack Black change it back. Not sure if I’ll buy this again.

Excellent
Please consider keeping this size as an option. It says limited time deal. I don’t care if the price goes back up in the future or whatever, just please keep the large 16oz quantity option. I use this all over my body not just my face and it works marvelously as a moisturizer and sunscreen in one. Another 10/10 product.

Pretty good, but not great
This moisturizer is pretty good. It does appear to effectively defend my skin against sun damage, but it is greasy and seems to add my skin’s general oiliness. Jack black used to have a better moisturizer that contained kaolin and cotton, but it was discontinued a few years ago and replaced with their current oil control formulation (which doesn’t work for me at all). I use the double duty moisturizer only because I haven’t made the effort to find a better alternative. If I am able to do so, I wouldn’t hesitate to make a switch.

Hi Ash, Thanks for reaching out! Have you tried our Dual Defense formula? It's an oil-free mineral SPF formula that may be preferable for those with oily skin types. :)
Same name, different formula, paraffin smell
I’ve used the Double Duty (from smaller bottles) every day for a year and loved its clean, subtle scent and light finish. I bought the large bottle thinking it a great deal, but it's more of a bait and switch. The product is not the same, and the ingredients list proves it. The big bottle drops cyclopentasiloxane (the light, odorless silicone base used previously) and adds C13-16 isoparaffin, octyldodecanol, and cetearyl alcohol. Result: heavier, greasier feel that lingers, and cheap, chemical, paraffin smell. It also removes several botanicals (calendula, edelweiss, chamomile, lemon balm, etc.) that used to make it smell so good. The difference in use: noticeable chemical / “cheap sunscreen” smell the moment it goes on, and it hangs around. Heavier film on skin compared with the original. Do not buy, and instead chose one of the usual smaller bottles. PS: the ingredient list on the webpage of this bottle is wrong and does not match the one on the label. See pictures.

I’ve been using Double Duty for several years. It works super well for me. I like that it doubles as a sunscreen, that it absorbs quickly with no greasy skin feel. I was happy to find the 16oz size on sale. No-brainer for me.

My go-to daytime moisturiser all year.
This is my favourite daily moisturiser. It is non-greasy, light, and smells good. I use it on its own in winter and with extra sunscreen on sunny days depending on the season. It is light enough to use even if you are staying indoors all day. The best value is when you can buy the largest size and either share with friends and family or use it yourself. It only take a little bit every day.
