I recently purchased the extreme 4 and I loved the device but this only lasted a day for some reason I couldn’t to Bluetooth I tried everything reset tried connecting to a new device and followed a bunch of tutorials on how to fix this issue and nothing the Bluetooth on this device wouldn’t connect but for the day it lasted it was great definitely what I was looking for perfect for my everyday use couldn’t ask for anything better. Well I decided to return the device and by the way it was a rebuilt/refurbished device looked brand new and worked great for that day it was just the Bluetooth connectivity issue but in the works of getting another one

A great Portable Speaker
I bought the JBL Xtreme 4 to replace a Bose Soundlink that was heading to retirement. I saved money by choosing a refurbished unit. It arrived in a couple of days and looked brand new. What really impressed me was the ease of use and the wonderful quality. Great sound and has all the volume you need for the use I intended. The battery is long lasting and in the far distant future, is easily replaceable. You will not regret this purchase.

So Good For The Money, BUT….
I had always just put off buying a new Bluetooth Speaker, I had an old JBL thing that would do the job albeit a little tinny. It was when I was working somewhere where I thought some music with me would be good so I decided to update. All I can say is wow! The technology in these little speakers is now mind blowing. Having the app with the graphic equalizer lets you tune you sound to exactly what you want. I’m very happy with the performance of this speaker, BUT…. You couldn’t put a USB charging cable in? I get the price point thing, but don’t be like others and forget the little things that should be in every new purchase.

JBL Connoisseur (Hooked on perfection)
I bought the JBL Xtreme 4 back in June, 2025. It was an upgrade for me from the JBL Xtreme. The Xtreme 4 has such clear, crisp, deep, & rich sound! No Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever heard even comes close to comparing with this JBL portable speaker. I love listening to music & watching movies with this is like being in the cinema. I’m sold and committed to JBL. I look forward to purchasing another Xtreme 4 & a JBL car audio subwoofer bundle. Thanks JBL!!

No Punch!
This speaker does NOT have the punch in bass that I’m looking for. I had the Charge 5 for 2.5 years and loved it. I wanted something a bit louder, with more bass. This speaker doesn’t even come close. Disappointed in the sound quality. I’ll be returning and looking for something with some actual punch. Great products overall, just not happy with this purchase.
