    Extremely average. Be aware that Jessica Simpson branded jeans tend to run very small in the calf/lower leg area, so size up if you have athletic legs (the jeans are stretchy, so although I typically wear 27, I sized up to a 28 and the waist is only slightly looser than my usual). Also- the front pockets on these jeans are fake, as in decorative only, which is a weird thing to find- the extra fabric for the pocket can't add that much to the cost! I got these jeans on a decent sale, so I won't return, but I can't say they're my favorite.
