Nice!

I bought the Larkin Chukka Boots for my husband. Upon receiving them the first thing we noticed was the quality of the shoes. My husband stated that he loved the color, the material was top notch and when he wore them they were very comfortable. My hubby was very pleased with my purchase. I will definitely be shopping for him here again!

Shoe Uncomfortable

Shoe leather around top edge was very hard and uncomfortable. Sole on shoe was hard too. Quality was minimum. Very disappointed

Johnston & Murphy Larka Brown Boot

I had high expectations for the Johnston & Murphy Larka brown boot based on the brand’s reputation and the boot’s overall appearance. Visually, the boot is attractive and well-finished, and it initially felt sturdy out of the box. Unfortunately, after just one wear, I experienced significant discomfort. The boot runs notably narrow around the ankle area, which caused irritation and friction. By the end of the day, both of my ankles were visibly scuffed and uncomfortable. This was not a minor break-in issue—it was enough to make the boots impractical for continued wear. For individuals with narrow ankles, this may not be an issue. However, for anyone with average or slightly wider ankles, the tight ankle cut could be a serious drawback. At this price point, I expected better comfort and wearability, especially for a boot marketed for everyday use. Overall, while the style is appealing, the poor ankle fit makes these boots difficult to recommend unless you are certain they will work with your foot and ankle shape.
