The shoes are comfortable and sole was well built, but the leather close to where the laces flap is attached ripped after two years of low use. How does that even happen? only 90 day guarantee. Rest of shoe is in great condition, but can't wear them anymore. Almost willing to buy another pair given their comfort, but for the price, shouldn't fall apart like this

I have owned these for about a year and worn them about three times a week since. I take car of them, polish them after every other wear and use shoe trees, they have held up really well. They are giving me bunions. My big toe is giving me grief right now. I caution they may jack up your feet.

I wear these to work, I've bought a few J&M shoes and these are one of the favorites. The leather is very soft, so I've had them for a year with minimal creasing. They break in easy and the sole is soft; the quality you would expect from J&M.

The sole came off by itself just by random walking, and it was clear there was a lack of glue in that area. Fortunately I went to Macys and they offered to return my money back even when they were out of the 180 guarantee days, which is nice from them. They also told me it was not the 1-2 time they received shoes belonging this brand with the same problem. Shoes were nice and comfy, can't complain about it, but if for the money they cost they are not reliable to be used even daily, I don't think they worth the money.
