denim jacket/blazer

This jacket is nicely constructed and very cute but it is also very boxy. It fits perfectly in the shoulders and arms but it goes straight down and is not nipped in like the model pictured in the ad. I don't think sizing down would make a difference. The good part is I can wear a fairly bulky sweater underneath. I was hoping to wear it more like a blazer but it's definitely a jacket.
