Looks great but just burned

Looks great but just burned my hand as I took the lid off to add the steamer section. Boiled potatoes in the main section and as they took longer than the green beans I was steaming, I had to add the steamer section while the potatoes were hot. I was careful but no easy way to do it.

I cooked spaghetti last night,

I cooked spaghetti last night, following the instructions to the letter, and although the pasta was very nice, there was water all over my microwave! Not so good! Also baby potatoes do not like being steamed in there, they came out all rubbery. The steamed vegetables I have had have been very nice.

Essential equipment

This a brilliant piece of kitchen equipment everyone who likes steamed vegetables and has a microwave should own. I have had mine a few years and use it all the time Easy to use Easy to clean Clever ergonomic design and interchangeable versatility dependant on needs The top orange section is perfect for asparagus The steamer (dark) section is great for other vegetables. I just bought another as a gift. One word of warning would be to avoid putting anything that might stain the lower compartment in the lower white bowl (such as carrots, spicy food or beetroot) Otherwise one of my favourite tools (the rice cooker is brilliant too! A little expensive but worth the investment!
