Only been in use a couple of weeks and then infrequently. The wood is starting to feel rough along with the salt grinder I bought with it. No use complaining. I have sent 3 separate emails about the glass storage containers which have plastic lids which like other reviews say don’t fit. Rendering them useless as storage in the fridge or to take out away from home. Not even a response from my emails. Expensive rubbish products.

1 year agoExcellent addition to your kitchen.
Very nice - the ceramic grinder works very well, the settings are great to set and thank god! a mill that’s easy to fill. its elegant, and so much nicer than my old peugeot grinder. the no mess at the base is a pleasant bonus too.

The two parts of the mill did not match in colour or texture. One part was very rough and would have been unpleasant to hold. So had to return.

2 years agoNice pepper mill
This is a nicely designed pepper mill and easy to refill. Unfortunately it was not clear when buying that the wood is untreated and recommended to be oiled before use. Looks nicer once oiled (used tung oil as food safe as long as no nut allergy).

This is a beautifuyl pepper mill. It looks great and it works. However I bought it specifically for the variable grind settings, and can see very little difference between the fine setting and the coarse setting, so sadly it has disappointed in this respect.

Can’t open to refill!
Bought a set of salt and pepper mills before the winter holidays last year, and now that I’m about to refill the salt mill, I’m unable to open it! Picture shows to open it in the bottom by twisting the cap (?) and it won’t open! Grrr! I don’t recommend these!
