Zero staying power

I am convinced that this original fragrance is impossible to come by these days. I used to buy it from a different department store about 20 years ago and it has always been my favorite fragrance. Now that many of the big box stores and discount stores sell it, the fragrance is never true, it always smells like alcohol and is watered down with little to no scent. I had hoped that purchasing it from a reputable department store would ensure that I received a genuine, original product, but I have sprayed it on several times and the scent is gone within minutes. I can also smell a slight alcohol scent as an undertone. The only other thing I can think of is to order it directly from this brand’s website, but even then I don’t know what to expect. I am really disappointed because this has always been my favorite go to fragrance that I have received compliments on for many years. I might say that it was packaged beautifully and in a very impressive box. However, I paid four or five times what I would have paid for it in a discount store and I don’t believe the product is any different or better for the price.

Opened and shipped anyway

Package was not sealed! One of the items inside was loose in the box compromising the dispenser. Clearly was opened by someone and at the price I ordered a new one.
