Not for me. But still a great product.

Wasn’t for me. Ok so the one star might be misleading but hear me out. I have a LOT of fine, wavy hair. I have used JVN products for about 5 years now and they are beautifully made, amazing products that get better and better with time. That being said this wasn’t a product that worked for me personally. I used it while my hair was damp and it was giving too much product, wet look, even though I’d only used about a small fingers worth. I tried using it again on dry hair at the ends and it did the same thing. I could see super curly girls loving this product but it wasn’t for my hair. But as I said, it’s only getting this review bc it wasn’t for my kind of hair, not that it’s not a great product otherwise.

Decent

It does help get the buildup off of my scalp. I don’t necessarily see a difference in my hair but I don’t think that is the purpose of the product. Don’t leave it in the shower, it might mold. Sometimes I use a small amount to tame my frizz and it is good for that.

Terrible results

I bought three JVN products and disliked them all, but this was the biggest disappointment. I routinely blow out my wavy/curly hair and have never used anything that made my hair look this bad. I can only assume this was intended for people with dry, overprocessed hair. My scalp is oily, my hair is not colored, and I rarely even use heat tools. This styling milk left my hair heavy and flat, looking like I needed to wash it, even though I only used a pea-sized amount. I expect a blowout product to leave my hair smooth and shiny, but this just made it flat and gross. It also left my hair looking weirdly matte and didn’t facilitate my blowout. I would have gotten better results with no product at all.
