A SIMPLE, Understated STAND UP WOW

RECEIVED 2 KL SHIRT DRESSES: 1) tan suede & 2) this BLACK LEATHER. recent injuries; so tough try ons. The Suede so disappointed; I nearly didnt try on THIS BEAUTY, till return day. SO GLAD I DID: NICE black, simple design, well made & FITS ME PERFECT. WHY THIS & not THAT SUEDE?: 1) COLOR Tan ( I’m ALL beige tone very light brown hair, golden skin, hazel 👀 eyes) like tone, on like , leaves no contrast & all 1 BLAH. 2) MATERIAL MASS, the suede mass overwhelmed my smaller frame & 3) WHY THIS - THE FIT, FYI: IM near 70, 5’3” 100lbs. ALL LIMBS (32” inseam flat), 9” rise is at my waist- unlike modeled very low. And my wingspan is 5’6”, hence broad shoulders (chest size) A bit of a tummy (age) & NO Butt. SUMMARIZE: athletic (straight build) small sized ( but needs larger cloths to accommodate limb length, shoulder width & a waistline that normally fails to meet pant waistband (usually at mid rib cage) or dress torso length drop.) NORMAL: 6/8 top (6) Gen a perfect fit & (8)looser I like. 0-6 bottoms ( the lower rise, the lower size: small hips , higher: rib cage is my waist on mid & high rise (at chest) IF SIZED Small/Medium best is 6/8 combo. IF split (4/6) & (8/10), style matters, but I tend to go with 8 for certain. THIS DRESS SIZE 6 fits perfect ( I like short, so I’ll have it shortened. The belt helps with both the torso length & defines a needed waistline. THE chest size fits my shoulders perfect. I SAY FIT TRUE TO SIZE, maybe a shade on the larger. FIT best for more even(not perfect) shaped builds eg) 36 chest: <36 waist & 36 hips. larger bottoms, more readily accommodated. Larger top -I’d say tent like boxy fit. YES I RECOMMEND, belt helps adj & flatter most shapes. AVOID IF chest/hip ratio deviates far. FROM DOUGLASTON, NYC USE: anywhere you wish to flatter, but comfy & laid back enough for shopping & errands. FOR THE YOUNGER CROWD (when clothes must multi task) COULD use as a JACKET (h20) resistant.1 OTHER TIP ( not relevant here) Corporate or a blazer/suit attire needed. Wear the skirt & the loafers, leave the office & don some *tights/& boots or funcky platforms for dinner/dance dates or female nightlife. •[leggings if very tall) I LOVE 💕 THE DRESS MY OTHER 1/2 Did a WOW! ( post many try’s)
