Beautiful coat!

I bought the Karl Lagerfeld double breasted belted coat as one of my wife's Christmas gifts and it is a hit! The listed measurements were true to size, the material has a quality feel, and the pearl color is very elegant. It is a heavier weight for warmth on colder days. Ordering from Macy's was easy and shipping was quick and convenient.

High Quality

In searching for a quality, winter white, wool coat to wear with dressy work wear, I’ve been disappointed (and returned) cheaper brands. This Karl Lagerfeld coat was exactly what I hoped to find and I’m so pleased with its high quality. It is substantial, fully lined, and thick. The wool blend looks so much better than cheaper polyester “wool look” coats. Beautiful shawl collar and double breasted belted style with nice quality metal (gold & white) buttons. This is a true winter white (off white) so it’s not stark white or cream (yellowish white). I am 5’7” and a size 14. Size Large fits well with room for layering without feeling tight in the arms and shoulders.

Love this coat!

I was Leary when I read the comments but the sale price was unbeatable. I love it!!! It’s heavy and it’s warm and it’s CLASSY!!! I ordered XL because I like having a bit more space, it fits perfectly! I am 5’7 and I ordered the white coat! 5 star!

Gorgeous: Runs SMALLER than described

I love this design; however, the huge portrait collar was just too open for me for Montana winters! Also, several reviews mentioned “sizing down”, & I definitely cannot recommend you do that: Order your normal coat size! For reference, I’m 5’ 8”, & wear size S & Misses’ 6/8 in KL & most other brands. In this beautiful white coat, I ordered a Medium, which was fine. If I’d wanted to wear bulkier sweaters underneath this, I would’ve chosen a Large.

Nice fabric and quality

This coat was well made and the fabric had an excellent hand. My only issue was the collar was far too wide for me, so I returned it.

Nice but did not work for us

I bought this for my daughter but she didn't like the double-breast. I agree. From the photo, I could not tell that it was double-breasted. That design made the coat unnecessarily bulky and the otherwise beautiful collar did not fall right. Also, I did not like the buttons
