Suit is fantastic but not service

I love the suit but will return it. The salesperson told me I would get 30% off the price if I used my Macys card. The suit is a little expensive. So I pulled out my Macys card. She told me it was the wrong one and I did not get 30% off. How many Macys cards are there? I have had this card for many years and been receiving sale offers, but apparently now there is a new one that I do not have. I will return the suit and will not shop there again. Sounds like discrimination as to who gets discounts and who does not.
