Toaster dead at 2 years
I bought my 4 slice KitchenAid Toaster, Red 2½ years ago. It has finally totally died after much hassle with inadequate toasting, especially on the right side. The levers to start the toaster no longer locked in place, the toaster no longer grilled the bread (skinny sourdough, 90% of the time) and the toaster is no longer acceptable.

Decent toaster
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Decent toaster. Settings can be a bit wonky but mostly toasts ok. Outside doesnt heat up too much.

Uneven toasting. Not made in USA. Cord is hard to manage but got somewhat better with time.

POOR MANUFACTURING
The 4-Slice Toaster Handle does not raise up completely when finish browning the bread!!!!

It takes awhile to toast. That’s why I got rid of our last one. I have a Kitchen Aid kitchen an thought this would be an added plus.

Very disappointed in kitcheaiAid
It takes forever to toast a slice of bread. Ridiculously long, I feel my life ticking away. And the left side broke after less than two years from purchase.

My Experience with the KitchenAid 4-Slice Toaster
My 2-slice toaster gave out, so I found and purchased the KitchenAid 4-slice toaster. It has proven to be an indispensable addition to my kitchen. One of the standout benefits is the ability to toast four English muffins at once. This feature is particularly valuable during busy mornings or when preparing breakfast meals for multiple people. In the past, I had to painstakingly toast each sliced muffin individually, which was not only time-consuming but also slightly frustrating. The high-lift option is a feature that has improved my toasting experience. In regular toasters, retrieving smaller items like English muffins often required me to use a fork or other utensils to dig them out. Now I can just lift the handle, and the muffins are easier to remove. Very satisfied with our new 4-slice toaster.
