Disappointing product

Usually Lancome creams work well with my skin but as my usual order has been sold out, I bought this as a substitute instead. Unfortunately, it gave me breakouts that eventually got worse and worse for over a month before I had to stop using it. Cream also has a weird smell; almost unpleasant- reminded me of a Bic ballpoint pen.
