Just perfect for the job.

Exactly what I wanted and on sale! Light as a feather and warm, my perfect dog walk jacket. Had a similar one years ago that can now be retired, this one has slightly longer sleeves which is even better.

Great Coat for Travel-Sleeves Come Up Short

I've had this coat for a while now and overall, I really like it. it's great for travel. Packs down nicely, it's warm but not hot and I love the slimming diagonal stitching in the front. They should consider putting it in the back, also.. I also like that it comes down to hip length and the back is a little longer. The hood is warm and comfortable. It's lightweight enough that I can pair it with the packable rain jacket when it's really cold or windy. What I don't like - the sleeves are short and they need cuffs. I do not have long arms but they aren't quite long enough. Were it not for the sleeves, I'd give this coat 4-5 stars. They just have loose elastic at the wrist. Cuffs would be so much better. So if I'm wearing anything long sleeved under the coat it sticks out further than the coat and cold air comes in the sleeve. Seriously - add cuffs! I think an inside pocket would be a huge improvement. There's the packing pocket on one side but it has no function other than as a stuff sack. Just turn it 90 degrees and it could act as a pocket, too. You can't put anything in it since it opens on the side. The stuff sack does not have any fastener so when I stuff the coat in it, you have to tie it then it's hard to untie. I added a pressure clip and that works great but would've been a good design feature.

Great for travel

Purchased this 2 weeks ago for an upcoming trip to Europe. Purchased for being "packable." Tried it in the cold NJ weather & it was very comfortable. It will be easy to pack & will be good for layering if needed as we travel through the year & different climates. Only problem is that the sleeves are a little short on me (I'm 5'6").

Generally great, but inconsistent sizing

The quality is good and the jacket is definitely warm and lightweight. However, sizing is inconsistent. I bought 2 of these "packable" down jackets from Lands End this season (different styles), both in the same size. The first one fit OK but snug around my hips; however this second one is at least 6-8 inches too big around the hip. Same size. I will keep it since I don't want to risk getting one that is too small. But I am a bit disappointed by the inconsistency.

Disappointed

A little disappointed, some of the pockets at the back are very short of filling and in one place the filling is starting to come out.

Nice, but no two way zipper.

Nice, but no two way zipper, meaning it’s not very comfortable in the car.
