Not the same quality as last year.

I have been buying these towels for years, but my recent purchase of dark sand towels is like something I'd see at a bargain box store; thin towel, thin loops, and I'm not sure they'll be absorbent. These seem so cheap compared to all of my other Lands End sets. Very disappointed.

Verdict Still Out Re: Shedding

The towels are thick and thirsty, but on the initial wash they shed a LOT of lint. I have never had towels do that to this extent. As we just received them, I am hoping that the shedding greatly diminishes. I may update this review later.

VERY pleasantly surprised!

Ok towels for the price

I’ve owned many higher end towels before like Frontgate which I was used for probably 15 years and they still look great although getting less soft. These lands end towels are ok but don’t expect Frontagate quality. These towels are thinner , still soft, but I can tell the difference. You get what you paid.

Good-looking towels

The towels look good - a classic size now and with a nice fluffy feel in an attractive colour but they are not yet in use so I don't know how they will perform.

Soft and Attractive

I ordered 4 of the black hand towels to use in my guest bath. They are a true black, as pictured, and they look and feel like good quality. Some fuzz came off in the first wash, but they're not shedding as I use them. There are thick and soft, and they dry well.
