So unfortunate. I have purchased these T shirts for eons and loved them. The quality of the material has declined immensely. Luckily I washed one T shirt in cold water and dried it on low heat only to find it shrank up in length only over 3 inches!!!! It did not shrink in width at all. I am only 5 foot 5 inches tall and the XL T shirt is unwearable because its so short. The quality of the material is horrible and is thinner than my Dad's old undershirts :( I ordered the same in tall to see if the material quality is any different but will likely be returning those too. Come on Lands End.....go back to your quality products you used to carry!!

Too Short and Scratchy Cotton
I've been buying and wearing landsend v-neck cotton tee shirts for all of my adult life (30+ years.) You could call me an expert. The most recent set of tees are nothing like the 50 or so that came before. The shirt is much shorter in length; I find myself constantly tugging it down. And at the end of the day, my entire back and chest are itchy like I was wearing polyester all day. I plan to return these tees and have found a new company to buy my tees from for the next 30 years. I have loved lands end and am sad to say goodbye.

Thin, see-through scratchy fabric
The white color is see-through and not soft fabric at all, very disappointing for Land's End. It's also a very boxy fit, not tapered at all through the bodice and waist. For the high cost of return shipping, hardly worth it to return but would not buy again.

Pretty colored Dust Rags
Sadly, the quality of these shirts has declined to the point of no return. I still have some in my closet from years past when they were still made in Peru. Those shirts were made of fabric that was substantial, the cut was generous and there was actually quality control. The current garments are sheer, oddly cut, and shrink badly. It’s obvious the current owner Lampert doesn’t care about the brand.

Good quality, versatile t-shirt.
Good quality, practical t-shirt for jeans, smart-ish or otherwise. Lovely material.

Response from Lands' End
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're thrilled to hear you find the t-shirt both practical and versatile. It's great to know you’re enjoying the quality and material. We really appreciate your feedback.
Thin fabric
Some years ago I bought some really great t-shirts from Lands End. They were substantial material, had some shape to them, and really liked them. They're now either all worn out or no longer fit me (yikes!) Thought I'd get a basic, white tee. Super thin material, kind of boxy, shorter than I would like (I feel like if I lift up my arms, my mid-section will be on display.) I thought about just keeping it because the price was so good but I'm going to haul myself to the local Lands End store to return.

Super silky
I had to post a review. I was so surprised. This top feels like modal. It is so soft and comfortable; silky really. I had to double check and sure enough it’s 100% cotton from Peru. It must be a new weave that makes it so silky. Great Job!! LE And the blush floral one is really pretty.
