Defective and cannot return

I haven't even used the sheets and the top sheet is already frayed at the edge. I opened the sheets and washed them on the usual gentle cycle of my front loader and then dried them on low. Once I pulled the sheets out of the dryer to fold I noticed the edge at the corner already had a slight hole and fraying. Because I bought these as a Final Act I am unable to return them or even exchange them (my preferred method). So now I am stuck having to purchase a top sheet. I love these sheets. I have been buying them for the last 15 or so years and have noticed that the quality has been going down in the last 5 years. I am lucky to get maybe 2 years out of them before the top sheet starts doing the fraying and getting tiny holes around the edges. I wash my sheets weekly but on the gentle cycle and then dry them on low. They should not be falling apart this quickly. I wish I didn't like the softness and look of them so much. I think it might be time to search for sheets elsewhere.

Excellent Sheets

I've used this brand of sheets for many years. They are soft, comfortable, and last a long time. I certainly hope they are not being discontinued. Excellent sheets!
