Sizing - Something’s way off

I love Ralph Lauren however the sizing on these jeans are much smaller than ones I have purchased in the past. Not just off one size but more like two or three sizes. How can I be a size 10/12 in dresses/pants but 14 was too small? Had to return.

Love the embroidered logo

I have many Lauren Ralph Lauren clothing items in my closet. I think I'll be reaching for this shirt often. Love the embroidered logo on the front. Not trying to be a middle-class fashion snob but I like the designs that are coming from the Lauren Ralph Lauren designer house.
