Super fun set

I loved building this set. So many little details and Easter eggs here and there. overall look is great and the set has all the minifies it should.

Hogwarts express

Could have been designed slightly better with the boiler on the loco shovel on the tender wrong side in my opinion should be near loco as that’s where it is used and regards to the station there is a door and windows that could of had window (glass / plastic ) in like other windows and the windows on the carriages

Great build

Bought this for my daughters birthday. (She turned 9). She has a few HP lego sets already and she thoroughly enjoyed building this set. No help required from me and she enjoys playing with it and displaying it along with her other builds

An Excellent Train Set for Play and Display

This set improves on the long list of HOGWARTS EXPRESS trains in every way. 1st, it gives 2 (albeit shorter) passenger cars vs 1, and their proportions are ok because of the small windows, which make the scale look better. 2nd, the locomotive and tender are small but very nicely shaped. Older models were usually very tall or blocky, and this one does not have that issue. 3rd, the station is by far the best one, and is a great station even in a City layout. With a detailed interior including amenities like a toilet, phone, fireplace, and artwork, the station is very cozy and looks great on display. Finally, you get track unlike older models, which looks great connected to the station. Overall, this is an excellent model for play or display. The only downside is the minifigure short leg piece, which I dislike since they can't sit down in chairs. Do not miss this model before it retires, especially if you find it on discount.
