unit door looks sleek, however because it covers entire front it becomes awkward to open when you stand close to microwave. Like the menu codes, hard to see unless lights are turned on. large oven size makes cooking large dinners. Quality unit.

I like it.
I love how this microwave functions, much more powerful than my 20 yo model, not happy that the display does not light up, when I did my search for LG microwaves with back-lit display and this one came up. I had a friend install it for me and he said it was pretty easy. It fit well with the outside ventilation that was part of my old machine. Would I buy it again, probably not, I would purchase one with back-lit display.

Excellent Choice of Microwave
Very similar to my previous Microwave except no handle. The microwave is easy to clean and the touch pads respond very well, the only item I need some improvement is the ability to change the melody. The inside light light looks permanent (LED), can it be changed if it fails?.

Don’t buy this if you are a small person
We just installed this, so I can’t really speak to how well it will work. But the control buttons for the microwave are at the bottom of the front panel, which causes the window on the front to be placed higher. I am five feet tall, and cannot see the food that is being cooked. Also the inside light is very dim, and the glass on the door is very dark, which makes it difficult to see the food as it cooks. Or at least it would, if I could see it to start with. Maybe we didn’t do our due diligence thoroughly enough, but it never occurred to us that this would be an issue.

LG microwave MVEL233F
Had last MVEL233F microwave only 2-1/2 yrs and had to replace it with another MVEL2033F microwave. All my appliances are LG with disappointed with this one. Maybe just a lemon?

Terrible Design
Installation was awful! The template was wrong and whoever decided using a template upside down was the best choice should talk a long walk off a short pier...Material used were cheap and broke easily. Do not recommend as of now.
