Disappointing purchase

I purchased this dress for a luncheon which requested attendees to wear something pink. It's hard to find pink during the winter months, so I was thrilled when I found this dress. When it arrived, I was happy with boucle fabric and the gold threading throughout gave it a nice appearance. But I tried the dress on and it wouldn't stay closed. With only ONE button (it's double breasted) to close the entire dress down at the waistline, I couldn't wear it. It needs a second set of buttons or a hook and eye closure above the one set of buttons at the waist. I could have placed a safety pin to keep the dress closed at the top, but shouldn't have to do that for a dress that costs this much. Therefore, I returned it.

Coat dress

I loved this dress. It’s simple but elegant, button detail added just enough to make this perfect for dining out or a wedding. It’s a contemporary look. Fabric is not lightweight but again it’s more of a coat dress so I expected that. It’s what I would call a “trim” fitting dress. For reference: I’m 5’3 so length was fine. The model in photo is taller, so dress appears mini in length.

I did not care for this dress

While I love MacDougall this dresswas not what I had expected I did not care for the fabric. It looked rather cheap and I did not care for the fit.
