    • Before Lipstick:
    • To naturally define lips, start by outlining the Cupid's bow, then switch to the outer corners of upper lips and draw inward until you connect the lines at the center
    • To enhance your lips and create a fuller-looking effect, trace along your upper lip line while gradually overlining beyond the natural border of your lips
    • To create a contoured lip look, choose a shade deeper than your lipstick to outline lips, then fill in center of lips with a lighter lipstick, slightly overlapping with liner; blend with a 316S Brush (sold separately) to create a natural-looking gradient
    • After Lipstick:
    • To add extra definition, line lips after applying your lipstick
    • With Lip Gloss:
    • Outline or fill in lips completely, then layer on your lip gloss for a high-shine look

No glaze

This lip liner does not “glaze”. It is an average lip liner and the color I chose was Whirling . It is darker than the photo, and I do not like it. I have fair skin so I went by the fair skin model. Maybe other colors will have the glaze look . So disappointed .

Fuller glossier lips

I have never been a fan of a matte lip. But unfortunately most of the lip liners are matte and end up looking a little funky with my lip glosses. Mac's glossy lip liner seamlessly solves this issue—and I mean seamlessly literally! It glides on to the lips smoothly, doesn't dig into creases, and does not needlessly tug on the lips during application. Once on, it adds volume and shine for fuller, glossier lips. Plus it doesn't dry out my lips over time (it actually hydrates them & leaves them feeling nourished!). I have the shade velvet teddy which is a gorgeous deep beige, but I'm excited to expand my collection. I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes.
