Made InEnameled Cast Iron 11.5'' Skillet

Looks to be a very solid and well made pan. Gifting to someone so have not used but I look forward to giving this to them.

Great skillet to add to your Made In collection

I wanted a cast iron skillet but I didn't want to have to worry about seasoning or keeping it seasoned. So I was happy to see this was exactly what I wanted. I have lots of made in pans in stainless steel and non stick. So this was a new type for me. The helper handle makes it easy for me to lift. I like the fact that I can sear something and then finish it in the oven. It isn't too big and it isn't too small.

It's a beautifully made piece but a bit of an old-fashioned design. The short handle with no tang makes it hard to manage with one hand, especially if the handle gets at all grease-spattered.

I purchased this pan as a gift for my daughter. She used it for the 1st time last night to cook steak. She told me that the pan performed wonderfully and she loved it.

Excellent product. Just like what we’ve come to expect from Made In.

I replaced my old cast iron skillet with a Made In enameled cast iron skillet. I really had doubts about enameled surfaces, but I have to tell you cooking in that skillet is a dream! Just keep heat low and allow to slowly preheat and it will perform beautifully with minimal cleanup. Now I’m saving for the cast iron Dutch oven! Can’t wait to order it!

Fabulous. Use it primarily for Dutch Babies, and it works perfectly. First enameled cast iron dish I have used, and it is smooth as can be. Recommend for sure.
