Uniqueness at its finest!

Mason Francis Kurkdjian OUD Satin Mood This perfume is rather strong with warm Woody, Leathery and slightly Smoky notes. Its name says it all. The Uniqueness of this perfume is thanks to the very special extract of Agarwood amber distilled to obtain an oil and infused in the perfume as a very special ingredient that is known to be very expensive too. The uniqueness of this perfume makes it very special. The fragrance combination comes quite strong and certainly not for every day wear. The fragrance reminds me of Oriental posh potpourri that gives long lasting fragrance to your room. In my opinion it's rather masculine fragrance, that lasts all day long.

Special occasion fragrance

The perfume feels luxurious and elegant from the moment you spray it. The scent is rich and very distinctive with noticeable oud and vanilla, slightly sweet but woody fragrance. Only a small amount is needed as its a bold scent. The longevity is impressive

Bold, woody, quality.

I was hopeful that I would love this scent as much as I do others from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. However, sadly that is not the case. OUD Satin Mood is a strong, bold scent, that absolutely screams quality. The woodiness of the scent overpowers any floral notes. It reminded me of something my Nan would wear. Personally I prefer a more floral fragrance. However the longevity of the fragrance cannot be faulted. I was still able to smell the fragrance on my clothes in the laundry basket the next day. This one wasn't for me, but if you like woody, statement fragrances, then definitely give this one a try.
