Leaves bad taste in mouth!

I bought this from the black friday sale. Was so excited to try it. Color looked very nice on my lips. It was very close to my natural lip color. HOWEVER, I gave it 1 star because it had an awful taste when I applied it to my lips. I would even try not to apply get it on my inner lip but somehow the taste of it ALWAYS ends up in my mouth and I couldn't get rid of it. It tastes like soap and perfume. I would return this if I could.

Mixed feelings…

Anywhere caffeine is simply GORGEOUS.Smooths out the lines in my lips creating a visually plumper looking lip. I don’t see any physical changes (I just did a side by side with a similar color in Basma). Scent is fine, but once it starts migrating into your mouth, totally GROSS. Almost like a medicated perfume, that def gives your tongue that slight sting as if this is medically astringent.It is a little sticky (which to fill/smooth lines, there does need to be that trade off), but not goopy, so you don’t get those “bands” that form between your lips when you open and close them. Debating whether or not to send this back because it is SO pretty. But there are so many pretty balms that can do similar things without the taste, so I’m torn. Will I buy more? No. I absolutely adore the pigment in the basma balmy this type of look, though this product is a slight bit more glassy.But it is SO hard to get past the taste. Why MUFA? Would be the perfect visual plumping gloss if not for that.
