Very disappointed with Marmot this time.
I was really disappointed with the Marmot Men’s Guides Down 2.0 Hoody. The jacket feels cheap for the price point and lacks any sense of quality or refinement. The fit is extremely loose and boxy - so much so that it looks at least two sizes larger than expected. Instead of feeling like a premium, well-constructed down jacket, it comes across as oversized and poorly tailored. For something marketed at this price and reputation, I expected a much more structured fit and a higher-end, luxurious feel, but this misses the mark completely.

Cozy winter coat
I like that this coat has a soft, and flexible water resistant shell. The down filled coat is warm in snowy environments. The pockets are deep and easy to close. This coat is machine washable, and easy to care for. There is no smell with the material. I like that the hood is attached. Overall, this is a well made cozy winter coat.

Nice jacket, but big... VERY BIG!
Well made jacket, but it sizes BIG. I am 5'10' and weigh 162 lbs and on me, this jacket looks like I borrowed it from my bigger brother. I also purchased an Ares jacket from Marmot and it fits perfectly. So apparently Marmot has different specs for different jackets.

Super warm
Super nice men’s jacket!! Keeps you very warm. You don’t have to bundle up while wearing this jacket! I work outside and I was warm in 10 degree weather. Holds up very nice for the type of work I do. The pockets are nice and big and zip so you don’t lose your things. Highly recommend!
