Marmot hype down jacket

Perfect fit and light weight, cozy for winter’s. Zip is a problem, Marmot needs to improve the quality of the zip in jacket. It gets stuck and needs to pull it hard to move.

Zipper broken and stuck when we opened the package

The jacket we received had a faulty zipper that we wrestled with for over 10 minutes just to open the darn coat before finally giving up. It will be going back. The rest of the jacket felt like it would have been nice, but seriously, a nonworking zipper out of the package? Where is the quality control? Very disappointed for this experience at this price point.

Cheapest of all possible zippers

I'm a big Marmot fan, and this jacket seemed like it would meet all requirements, but the zipper is minuscule and of embarrassingly poor quality. It took me several attempts to completely unzip the jacket. It took me several more to get the zipper to bite so I could zip it back up. The zippers on the drop line jacket are so much more substantial. It boggles my mind why they or something of even better quality wasn't used here.

Great little jacket

I essentially needed a sweater I could live in. This is light weight and warm. Some of my working environments are chilly, some are too warm, this jacket works everywhere and is comfortable sitting at a desk or in the wood shop. It also goes under a heavy parka, or a blazer. I am happy.
