I made the right choice!

I live is frigid New York City so I need a warm coat in the winter. This Marmot coat really keeps me warm. I went out shopping today in 30 degree weather and only my hands got cold. So I guess I’m all set to spend the winter here

Attractive Coat Looks Very Protective

I have three Marmot coats. I just got the Chelsea Coat today. It looks very nice and warm. It is waterproof for rainy or heavy, wet, snow days. The Navy color is very attractive. I have been wearing my Prospect Marmot coat in windy, cold weather, and it has been very warm. We got 40 mph winds and 10 inches of snow right after my shipment came, so it was really put to the test. I stayed nice and warm, cleaning all the snow off the car, and going to work. However, I think the Chelsea coat may be even warmer as it has a heavier exterior, although the Prospect down is 800 versus 700 for the Chelsea. I will find out tomorrow when I wear the Chelsea to work.

Really liked this coat. Wanted something that would be warm, lightweight and waterproof since I was heading to Europe for snow and rainy weather. Looked good on and not too bulky. Wore a thermal shirt with a thin sweater underneath and was good to go.

almost 10 years now

I bought this coat in 2016 (their old design) and it is the best winter coat I have ever owned. Im 5 ft 7 and wear an XS, 34 inch chest. It is snug but comfortable. It is waterproof and it holds true. Still to this day, it is in like-new conditions with some fraying at the wrists. The pockets are warm. The insulation is great in Masshole winter weather. I would buy this again and again. It is worst the cost.

Great coat!

This is a very well made coat that will protect well in wet cold weather. I bought a large and a medium would have been a better fit (5 feet tall, 125 pounds) but this will work with layers underneath. I trust Marmot brand and have loved previous coats from them.
