Warm, comfy and stops the wind. I love the color and the fabric, so soft and doesn't get dirty easily.

Good. Does not keep warm- zipper make you hurt on

Does not keep the body warm at all. The upper part of the zipper that goes up to the neck is so stiff that hurts the chin. I’m going on The hood is designed so loose that does not keep the head and the ears warm at all.

Luxurious fabric, warm, well crafted. Love that the zipper also opens from the bottom! Very warm without feeling bulky

I made the right choice!

I live is frigid New York City so I need a warm coat in the winter. This Marmot coat really keeps me warm. I went out shopping today in 30 degree weather and only my hands got cold. So I guess I’m all set to spend the winter here

Attractive Coat Looks Very Protective

I have three Marmot coats. I just got the Chelsea Coat today. It looks very nice and warm. It is waterproof for rainy or heavy, wet, snow days. The Navy color is very attractive. I have been wearing my Prospect Marmot coat in windy, cold weather, and it has been very warm. We got 40 mph winds and 10 inches of snow right after my shipment came, so it was really put to the test. I stayed nice and warm, cleaning all the snow off the car, and going to work. However, I think the Chelsea coat may be even warmer as it has a heavier exterior, although the Prospect down is 800 versus 700 for the Chelsea. I will find out tomorrow when I wear the Chelsea to work.

Really liked this coat. Wanted something that would be warm, lightweight and waterproof since I was heading to Europe for snow and rainy weather. Looked good on and not too bulky. Wore a thermal shirt with a thin sweater underneath and was good to go.
