A bit thin

The jacket is kind of thin. It has the high fill power, but since it doesn't have much weight, I'm not sure how warm it would be in really cold weather (Northern California's low 50s and under for example). When I put it on it was warm for the thinness, but I don't know how sturdy it will hold up the nasty cold temps. It sort of looks like it would be thicker from the photos. I am going to check out another brand's thick puffy down jacket, and maybe Marmot's heavier duty jackets like Guide's Down 2.0 Jacket. It has the same fill power but looks thicker and heavier.

It runs small. Per Size&Fit Guide, Size M equals to Size 8-10. In reality, Size M equals to Size 6.

marmot for life!

finally replacing my marmot jacket after 10 years of heavy wear! And the jacket was still in good shape, just a few tears and the down was getting a little thinned out. but I love the fleece cuffs, love the fur trim hood, love the pockets lined in fleece, and love the fit!

Goldilocks coat

The Ithaca jacket comes in regular fit and it is just right. Roomy enough in arms and the length is just right. Down fill is sufficient and deep hand warming pockets. I didn’t realize it came with fur hood so that was a surprise. Very happy with the 2024 Ithaca in veltiver.

Flattering jacket, but would love longer arms

Love the be shaped baffles that are flattering and the The fake fur hood is very warm. I would love if the arms were a couple of inches longer. I am 5’9” with long limbs.
