Fun Gift for a hard to gift teenage boy
I gifted this to my 17 year old son who had a field day putting it together. The pieces and build were fun, he said comparable to a lego technics build. He loves the finish product. I would highly recomend.

Cool to build!
The Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels Corvette Grand Sport Building Toy Kit was a huge hit with my son. He enjoyed building the set and really like how the tires moved and can change them. He really liked the design and details in this set.

Cool concept with a lot of Frustration
I received this about 2 weeks ago. My daughter hasn't finished it and put all of the pieces away. She was getting very frustrated because the pieces don't stay together. She spent an hour going through all of the pieces and there is one missing. This surprises me because Lego has always prided itself on both of these issues. It is a cool looking model, but unfortunately, it was not completed.

Hot Wheels Brick Shop Corvette Grand Sport
My 14 year old absolutely loves this Corvette Grand Sport! This is a building set with 918 pieces. He is having a great time putting this Corvette together and enjoys that it’s a bigger project and somewhat of a challenge. It is really convenient that each of the steps comes in a separate numbered bag which makes the assembly easy to follow. This building set is of great quality. He really liked that it came with metal parts and a Hot Wheels car.

Such a fun set for my boys!
My kids love building things, and this was our first time trying a Mattel Brick Shop kit. I have two boys, 8 and 10, and they worked happily together to put this kit together. Our family has a special love for vintage Corvettes, so it was a really fun kit! The doors and hood open and close on hinges, which is neat. It is definitely fragile once put together - not a toy to "play with" by driving it around in play, because it's brick-style and fragile. However even when pieces fell off, my kiddos were able to rebuild those sections again. Being such a large and complex set, I'm not sure my kids will want to take it apart and rebuild it for awhile - it sits on display as a huge accomplishment for them! But they both told me they would love to get more of these sets, and that this was their favorite of our brick-type sets we own! The pieces come in well labeled packages, and the instruction book is well designed and easy to understand. It came with some extra pieces as well, to add on additional features to customize if you want. It also came with stickers to customize it, which is one reason my kids don't want to take it apart and start over again - it would ruin their sticker designs they added. They loved that it came with a mini Hot Wheels car of the same design! This is definitely something we want to get more of!!

Cool and fun build
This was a fun build that my 9 year old son and I did together. The instructions were clear although we did place a block wrong a couple times without realizing until further into the build. That required us to disassemble some but to no fault of the instructions. The detail of the build is incredible and the windshield came wrapped in tissue to protect it from scratches. It does come with stickers to put on the build but my son opted to not use them as he thought the car looks cool without them.

Model car building kit was an instant hit
The model car building kit was an instant hit! It is very well designed, detailed and of great quality. It even includes a replica mini metal car. All the brick building pieces fit together snugly and securely. It also includes metal parts. Once assembled, the steering wheel actually moves the tires, and the doors and hood open. The included paper instructions are clear and easy to understand; I would consider this to be a moderately difficult level build. The vehicle is even customizable with the included stickers and parts. It is a very cool car that is fun to play with and looks great on display!

Cool set, comparable with other blocks
This is a really cool set. I really like how it comes with a little miniature car as well. It’s pretty easy to assemble and I think adults or kids would have fun playing with it. Just like Legos, I’m not sure how much replay value there is.
