Good design, Poor quality

They fit really well, they're really comfortable, they cover my butt cheeks and do not ride up into a wedgie when wearing jeans which was the problem I was trying to solve when I bought them. However, after a single say use, the entire outside of the crotch and lower butt crack area is completely pilled up it looks like this brand new pair is 10 years old lol. I guess the fabric just can't hold up to the friction of jeans? For perspective, I am a medium person, I'm not saying this as someone who is overweight and has a lot of trouble with chafing, I'm about 5'5"ish, 155 ish lbs. I was buying this as a test pair to buy maybe 10 pairs or so at a way better price from the real manufacturer because I'm determined to achieve avoiding a wedgie in jeans without resorting to a thong lol. The search continues.
