True color varies

Iā€™m a bit disappointed in this one, the gold is very vivid online and quite dull in person. Itā€™s a birthday gift and I plan to present it, but if undesired I will return. Rather than the bright yellow gold many expect, itā€™s more brushed gold, almost light pewter. I honestly tried to match what I received against the item number online because I was convinced it was the wrong item.
