Beautiful piece, but manufacturing defect

I recently ordered and received this beautiful menorah from Bloomingdales Chestnut Hill. Just as another recent reviewer experienced, it has a manufacturing flaw. There is a little "cave" or void in the surface. Unfortunately it is very noticeable and distracting in natural light. I will try to exchange it. This will be a gift for my beloved uncles, and i want it to be as perfect as possible. On the upside, the person who is helping me at the Bloomingdales Chestnut Hill store has been absolutely lovely, helpful, professional. Bloomingdales is at no fault for the problems with this item, and I am sorry to make more work for them, when the responsibility is really with Nambe!

Just wanted to update this review. My wonderful sales specialist Nagwa, who is a genius, pulled all the Nambe menorahs for my husband and me, to look at in the store on our next trip in to Boston. Thanks to her patience and goodwill, I was able to inspect them and find one in great condition, which she sent directly to my uncles. They loved it, and I was so happy to see it out on their table whenever I'd visit. One of my dear uncles has since passed away. I hope and believe this piece was a light and a symbol, near the end of his life, of family, heritage, beauty, and the fact that he was loved.

Beautiful and timeless

We received this cup as a gift to use at our wedding ceremony. It is simple and elegant and has a good weight to it. I love the clean lines. I like that this cup is elegant enough to be used for our wedding and simple enough to be used for all of the other Jewish holidays.
