Metal arm snapped off
Very disappointed very disappointed in this product. The arm that secures the paper towels snapped off, after having it for only a short time. We are not hard on our paper towel holder, it should never have happened. Terrible quality!

Beautiful with a huge functionality drawback
I bought this paper towel holder because I fell in love with the way it looks and because I already owned the fruit bowl, which is stunning. The paper towel holder is a piece of art with a serious functionality problem. You practically have to wrestle with the tension arm on the side to slide a roll of paper towels on. The arm presses so tightly against the roll — especially if it’s a larger roll — that it’s impossible to pull a section of towel off without grabbing the whole dispenser with two wet hands and pulling the arm back a little to be able to pull the piece of paper towels through. I’ve lived with this drawback for about six months now, and just ordered a new towel holder made by another company. I checked the reviews first to ensure it was easy to put rolls on and pull towels off. This Nambe holder is a weighty, substantial, total work of art and looks beautiful on my counter, but the functionality is totally missing unless the goal is to just display a roll of paper towels and not actually use them. I’d buy an updated version of this towel holder in a minute if they fixed the issue with the tension arm that holds the roll of paper towels in place.

Looks pretty But

Nice looking paper towel holder
This is our second one. The spring was a bit tight on the first but this one is perfect. Looks great on the counter.
Highly recommended
Heavy so it’s truly one-handed.beautiful on the counter. Gave one as a housewarming gift and they love it. Gave another to my son and daughter-in-law for Chanukah because they fell in love with ours.

Pretty but not functional
Warning to others not to get this holder. While it is aesthetically pretty, the arm of the holder is too tight so when you put a new paper towel role on - it will not spin to rip new paper towels off without getting stuck until you are about 1/2 done with the paper towel roll. I still use this because it was expensive but I wish I never got it - it is a huge pain half the time.
