Worst Zipper Ever

The dress is absolutely beautiful.....HOWEVER; the zipper is the worst! It will not rise above mid torso and the dress runs small....unfortunately I had to return it immediately!!!

Ignored the bad zipper reviews and paid for it!

The dress itself is really beautiful and a nice quality...however, just like everyone else said the zipper is TERRIBLE. I saw the reviews and bought the dress anyway and ended up paying for it. When I got the dress, I tested the zipper on the hanger. It was difficult to zip up, but I managed it. The day I was supposed to wear it to a wedding, I COULD NOT get the zipper up, even though it fit me well and it wasn’t too tight or pulling. Me and my husband spent half an hour trying to get it to work, and eventually the zipper just broke altogether. We ended up missing part of the wedding celebration because he had to SEW ME INTO THE DRESS. Literally he sewed the back together so I could wear it (I didn’t have a backup dress!) it is ridiculous I had to go through that at all, much less with a brand new dress. Heed the warnings and stay away!!

Cut too tight at waste. Flimsy zipper.

Nice looking dress. Way too small at the waste, which explains everyone else’s encounters with broken zippers. Zipper is also too small and flimsy for dress. Thought I would replace the zipper with the savings from the dress discount, but waste is cut too tight!!!

Size up

Absolutely gorgeous! I love this dress so much. I am 5"2' and 165lbs and a 36D and I bought a size 14. The waist is not stretchy so I had to size up just a tiny bit. It was easy to get the bottom hemmed to fit my height. These sizes do not correspond to normal clothing... I am a size 10 usually M/L in jeans and T shirts and a 10 in dresses.

Beautiful Dress

Ordered for my sister as a consideration for our Niece's wedding this fall. It was way too much material for such a little girl. She's a size 6 and it was just too much. Really pretty dress, just not the right one for my Sis.

Lack of quality control.

I’ve responded to this survey twice already but it bears repeating that Macy’s quality control is terrible. I read two reviews on this gown and both customers spoke of a broken zipper on the dress. Thinking Macy’s would certainly remove this item from its inventory I was confident in ordering the gown. To my disappointment, I also received a gown with a broken zipper. I’m so disappointed with Macy’s and their lack of good quality control that I’m on the fence about cutting up my credit card. In addition, when I returned the item to the north Dartmouth store and explained my frustration to the clerk, she couldn’t have cared less. I think I’m going to look for a dress elsewhere.

The reason I am giving this a one star is that the dress came without tags and now I need to figure out how to return if dress doesn't fit it is for a Christmas Gift
