Disappointed in quality and service

I bought these shoes in early May. I was so excited, they are very comfortable and stylish. After a month of wearing them twice a week to work (so not on a daily basis) they completely fell apart. I went to one of the stores to ask for a refund for these still brand new shoes and was sent from one department to another with the result being that I should contact the brand directly. I emailed Nine West about my concern of a manufacturing defect and was redirected back to Macys since they are not responsible for third-party resellers. I still have not been helped by either Macys or Nine West. Overall, I'm frustrated and disappointed by the quality of the product and service. I am just a college student with a part-time job who has worked hard for the money I've payed for these shoes and haven't been given much help.
