So disappointed

I bought this at the advice of a neighbor who loves hers. So far I've had to have Ninja replace it twice because the unit stopped working completely. The latest issue is that when the coffee maker brews a single cup it splatters all over my counter. Do NOT buy this coffee maker... makes me miss my Keurig! :(

Best Coffee Maker System Ever

I love how easy the Ninja Coffee Bar is to use and I can make my lattes at home now and not spend huge amounts of monies at coffee shops. I placed this in a nice little spot in my kitchen and now have my own coffee bar. Thank you Macy's for carrying this item.

Not worth the money or hassle

I bought this coffee maker in Dec 2017 for a family Christmas gift. I chose this because of the reviews being so positive & the reputation of the Ninja brand. Almost a year later I can honestly tell you this is the worst and cheapest made coffee maker I ever purchased. For 20 years now, if I needed a coffee maker I bought a cuisinart. I assumed since the price is so close so is the quality of the coffee maker itself and the coffee it produced. I was very wrong! Positive features... The water holder is detachable so you can easily fill it directly over the sink. That is the main positive feature. It has a feature for "specialty" types of coffee and for a single cup. That is if you can actually get the feature to work properly. The pot is steel so it keeps your coffee very hot for a long time but it is considerably smaller than most pots. Negative features.. This machine takes having to clean your coffee maker to a whole new level!!! With my crusinart I cleaned the maker every 2 months (without the machine letting me know) just to keep the coffee fresh and yummy!From the time I unboxed it, cleaning was needed every month minimum! Now after 10 months of use, I need to clean it every few days! When the cleaning light lights up.. the maker more or less shuts down. It isnt as simple as running the cleanser through the machine and then flushing with water. Normally the whole process takes maybe 30 min. Not with this maker... It is a long process! After it runs through the cleaning process and its time to flush the maker a light will tell you to "flush". You have just a few minutes to do this or the whole process resets! You cant just "flush" and be done with it! You must start totally over and more or less babysit the maker to be sure you dont miss the "flush cycle". For me, even after babysitting the coffee maker and using high end cleanser.. It had to do this a few times just for it to work properly. Who has time for this?! With such an extensive cleaning cycle one would expect the coffee it produced would be wonderful... nope! The filter basket is made of cheap, flimsy plastic. You need to carefully slide it back into place after you load the filter and coffee. My crusinart wasnt broken. I bought it 6 years ago and just simply wanted something new. I am so tired of dealing with all the negativity with this coffee maker, my old crusinart is back on my counter! Hands down, despite its age it blows this coffee maker out of the water! With the holidays right around the corner I figured I would give a honest review. I dont want others to be so disappointed as I am! Move on to a different brand... Ninja fell short with their coffee maker!

Love it, so far

I’ve been wanting this coffee maker ever since it first came out, and finally I got it for a wedding gift. I’ve made specialty coffees (my favorite) and regular brews so far... my only complaint is the coffee in the pot does not stay warm for longer than a few minutes.

I got this for my bridal shower and its a must for a true coffee lover. I replaced my Keurig maker for this and have ZERO regrets

Great for coffee lovers

I bought this coffee maker for my grandma. She is a huge coffee lover and loved it instantly. The only bad thing was it doesn’t brew a lot of cups, especially when she has guests over.

Nice so far..

Replaced our carafe Mr. Coffee with this Ninja. We liked the one cup feature and wanted a carafe style pot. Only wish the top of carafe had a better insulated top.
