The best dual brew ever
I lost my original during a house fire this past March and bought another name brand for the rental. Needless to say and bought another ninja for my new house The only thing I can say I don't like about it is I can't adjust the hot plate temperature otherwise it makes the best coffee.

Waste of money
My old Ninja stopped working and wasn’t covered under warranty. So I purchased a new one, it arrived yesterday and upon washing it prior to using as the instructions recommended the carafe completely shattered and cut my husbands finger. This will be the last time I purchase a Ninja. Two coffee makers in two years and both defective.

Great Coffee Maker, Until Its Not
This Ninja Dual Brew coffee maker replaced my old Keurig that I had over 6 years. I was really excited to find something that did so much. To be honest, it sounded way too good to be true. I purchsed this coffee maker in April 4, 2024 and just this week,approximately around September 15, 2025 it stopped making coffee. It barely id lasted 1 year and a half. I watched videos online on how to "fix" the problem, but nothing worked. I go an check the warranty and it only has 1 year warranty. I assumed I didn't need to purchase the extra warranty they offer at checkout because my other brand coffee makers lasted so long that I could not believe my eyes when I pulled up the receipt to confirm the date of purchase. Prior to its death, it was the best coffee maker I have ever owned. I loved how quick it brewed, the coffee always tastes amazing. The variety of options that were available, and the fact that I could continue to puchase KCups and not some specialty type of coffee cups. Overall, I loved this coffee maker and would rave about it to everyone that listened. Now, I am regretting all of my decisions as I can't find a solution on how to make it brew the right amount of coffee. The appliance makes a sound like it is working, and when I select my 12 ounce coffee to brew, now it brews about 4 ounces. I cleaned it all out, and nothing has worked. This issue only happens when a KCup is used, when I run it without a KCup, the water comes out at almost 12 ounces. This coffee maker is fantastic, until it's not. Overall, the quality of the product doesn't seem good, it is not build to last. Keep that in mind when selecting a product and If I could go back in time, I would have purchsed that extended warranty offered at checkout. Now I begin my search for a replacement, and I don't know if I can ever trust the Nina brand again.

Good and...frustrating
We have owned this machine for about 2 years. It is functional and easy to use and makes coffee quickly.... BUT... it has a few flaws! When using a pod (with the pod holder inserted) it spits coffee outside the cup on to the counter! I use a tall cup and it spits! I use a shorter cup on the pull down ledge and it spits. 2nd flaw: It is very difficult to clean the water container. The gasket (?) inside the container at the bottom gets green...as does the small corner next to it. Using the cleaning cycle does nothing to alleviate it. There is no way to clean the green stuff.

I wanted to love it
I really wanted to love this coffee maker. It makes great coffee, is easy to switch from pods to grounds and looks sleek. The problem is, I like my coffee hot. The first cup right after brewing is wonderful, the second one, which is about 15-20 later is lukewarm. I have to pour it then go straight to the microwave. I don’t want my coffee microwaved, it defeats the purpose of a well brewed cup of coffee. The owner’s manual suggested preheating the carafe with hot water. We have ours programmed to be ready at 5:00 am when we get up. Even if we didn’t,. I am not wasting the time not to mention water to do this, and I can guarantee it would do absolutely no good. Could you design a warming plate with two temperature settings? One for keeping coffee hot and one for those who prefer lukewarm coffee? It really makes me sad, I thought I had finally found the perfect coffee maker.

I honestly have no idea why this has such a low star rating. It's significantly better than anything made by Keurig. I love it, and people who have visited my house have liked it so much that they've bought one too.

Best I’ve had until the day it died
I purchased this unit about 10 months ago. After those months of excellent service, it’s now time to find another unit. I had high hopes because I love my Ninja products but this one turned out like everybody else’s pod brewers. With light use and pretty good descaling regimen, it died within a year. That said, when it worked it was the best pod machine I’ve had. I had a keurig dual brew and this outperformed and took up less space. Good pod coffee for my daily - pod with breakfast and two more for work. Nice classic carafe at the holidays. Easy to fill. Coffee was hot and tasted as good as my pod or grind let it taste. I’ll miss you, buddy.

Stopped working after 2 years
Loved it for two years, both the pod and brew. Then it stopped working. This is an expensive coffee maker and it lasting only two years is a big disappointment!
