Noritake Hammock , great quality

looks great and very good quality. I had them for 3 months and already bumped or dropped pieces of the china, no chips not scratches.

I plan to return. The quality of porcelain is very nice and the glaze colors are also lovely. In general the pieces are suitable in weight, not overly heavy. The problem with the Noritake is the profiles of the pieces. The plates are too flat and the soup bowls are more like serving bowls in size.

Best Dishes Ever

I got a bunch of these dishes a year ago for my wedding and they are my favorite wedding present. They have held up really well. So far I can not see any silverware marks on them. I like that the plates stack nicely and do not take up much room. The only problem I have is the dots are not all exactly the same, some are a bit darker and fuzzy. This is defiantly done on purpose but it is slightly annoying. My parents had a set of Noritake dishes, not blue hammock that they used every day for 15-ish years and they look almost as good as new. After a year of daily use I expect the same from this set.
