Great appetizer set up
I have a a number of pieces in this pattern I use as an appetizer service. The pattern is attractive and has the feel of fine porcelain. I always get compliments. The tea mugs make great containers for sauces and dips. The 6” plates, a set of small bowl and the square plates to use as platters makes a very nice presentation.

Gleaming porcelain white with lovely artwork. Prettier than picture. Not a thin edged porcelain, not fat, on the sturdy kitchen side. Will mix and match with all manner of dishes. The sizes and ounces are as listed. Imagine being served in an Asian restaurant with all the small dishes of appetizers, sauces and personal sticky rice serving mounded above the edge like an upside bowl. That is the size and aesthetic of the sets if you wish. Would look lovely arranged on a Japanese lacquered wood table tray rather than a mat with other Japanese porcelain mixed in. I purchased small teacup set of 5, 2 sets of rice bowls with carrot and eggplant flower designs and small plate set of 5. The bowls and teacups have a lovely dimpled design all around. Now that I know their quality I'll be hoping for more choices in the future. A great gift of better looking china and quality for the dishwasher users. More contemporary.
