Yummy for brownies

I don't purchase many prepared boxed products anymore due to the amount of ingredients that I can't pronounce, and which contain artificial and 'natural' ingredients that are found to be harmful for my body. That said, one of the things that I have started doing is making my own desserts from scratch and one of my family's all time favorites is Almond Joy Brownies (with almonds and coconut flakes...so yummy). That's when I found Now's Cocoa Powder. It's rich and smooth texture mixes well and allows me to add my own sweetener option to our liking.

Must see the QA data on the heavy metals

I use it daily with my unflavored protein shake mixed with coconut water. It blends well and tastes great. I’ve read the heavy metal fda compliance statement and the commitment to quality testing statement. To me, I want the data, specifically, and not generic “we care about you” pacifier text. This category of toxin is too serious for ‘marketing language’ - give the data.

Actually smells and taste like chocolate

I bought this last year hoping it was good. (I learned about NowFoods because my local health food store carries the brand.) Not only did it turn out to be good, but when I opened the lid of my Hershey's Baking Cocoa the Hershey's smelled like dust compared to the chocolatey smell of the cocoa. The Hershey smelled so bad by comparison that I threw it out, possibly the only time I've ever done that in my decades of cooking. Then I waited and waited, and waited some more, during a long dry spell when it was out of stock. I was able finally to restock and gave a few precious ounces away to some good friends.
