more of a coat than a fleece

This is very cute on, but I would say it has more of a coat quality and is thicker and heavier than I really wanted. I was expecting more of a lightweight fleece. I ordered this in a small which is my regular size, but this runs a bit big - esp in the arms. It is a fun layer, just expect more heft.
