Conflicted

While I like the purse color - blue, it is very large on a person 5'3". It is not leather, its some kind of vinyl, so it probably will only last one season. But what I can't get past is the smell. I can't describe it, but it won't go away. I have sprinkled it with baking soda, set it outside for a day, sprayed it with lysol, and I can still smell it. I am afraid to put my things in it until I can clear the smell, I certainly don't want my other stuff to pick it up.
