Too thick, dries white when baked.

I recently purchased this product and am rather disappointed. It is so thick that it will not squeeze out of the dispenser bottle. I had to use a narrow palette knife to get it out of the bottle, and it is so gloopy that precision application is impossible. I was trying to adhere a draped piece of unbaked clay to the already-baked base of my project. When I pressed the 2 surfaces together some of the adhesive oozed out, but because the product is so thick and tacky, I was not able to precisely remove the excess without damaging the unbaked piece. Once baked, the adhesive remained visible- it dries white, not clear.

My go-to Sculpey product for years

I’ve been using this as my go-to for years now. It helps with my series bake process of my fantasy figures, pet and wedding sculptures. I’ve also added Premo to it so I can “paint” when I don’t have color liquid clay.

Less bubbles

The viscosity of the latest batch I ordered is thinner. It flows into crevices and there are less chance of bubbles. I still stretch the mold and use a toothpick to release bubbles, but the results are much better than in the past.

Great Product

The oven-baked clay adhesive works great! I use it all the time when I’m sculpting my creations. It only takes a small amount to make sure the small details are securely in place where I want them.
