I gives it just enough of a lift where it’s not sitting on the bottom in the juices and fat and grease. This will comes in handy especially around thanksgiving and Christmas with making turkey! It fits well into different size pans also and allows for good air circulation while cooking. Another bonus is that it can be used as a trivit when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got silicone roasting racks to try in my roasting pans. There are 2 racks which I can put where I want in the pan. It worked great for roasting whole chicken and roasts. It is healthier way to cook as fat drains off. So easy to clean nothing sticks to the racks. You can wash by hand or put in the dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these roasting racks in my crockpot for when I want to keep cooked meat warm. I put these in the bottom of the crockpot and then put hot water in the bottom and then a piece of foil on top of that. Then I place the meat (like meatballs) on top of the foil. This ensures the meat doesn't get in the water, but allows the meat to stay moist from the hot water. I used to use crumpled-up foil in the bottom in the past, but this is easier and less waste of foil.

I've roasted a pork loin and chicken and they both turned out juicy, tender, and delicious. The silicone makes it easy to wash. It is also great because they are small and easy to store when not being used. But don't let the small size fool you. You can roast big pieces of meat. I recommend.

Percent for roasting tenderloins, chicken, and roasts. They sit high enough that you won't have to worry about your food sitting in all the oil or grease. They are not only ovenproof, but they are also dishwasher safe as well.
