Precision Batter Dispenser

Nice kitchen toy to play with. Its cool I use this for cupcakes too. No leaks or anything. Rinses well when cleaning.

Great for pancakes and other batters to make a precise size that you wish to have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I was super excited about this product because it seemed like a great way for me to keep my kitchen counters and cook surfaces cleaner for the perfect pancake each time. However, over time of using it, I’ve gotten a bit annoyed that this product takes a lot of space to store in my precious apartment cabinet real estate. I found myself placing it in the back of pantry and no longer reaching for despite my semi frequent pancakes making. I think this would be great for people with large families, but if you’re single or just cooking for two, this should probably be considered a pass.

Worked beautifully.....used it to make pancakes - no spill or mess, helped them to be uniform - this was for a men's breakfast - thank you. Will be using for cupcakes....praying no drips on the edges....

This seemed to be a great product I've used it, worked nicely, but haven't used long enough to give 5 stars.

It definitely does the job, my only frustration which could be my fault it went very slow which could be the batter was too thick. Also when I let go of the handle to put the batter holder down it needed to be on a plate or the excess would drip onto the counter.

There was no mess on my counter after making waffles like there usually is when pouring from the bowl. Only thing is, washing the dispenser was a little tricky. No other complaints!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This device is great you intend to make a large number of pancakes in one meal, especially handy on my outdoor gas propane griddle. I like how it has measurements on the side to make for easy prepping and portion control. I wish the lid was a tight fit so that if it were knocked over or stored in a cooler (camping) it wouldn't leak. The lid is really impractical as it just lightly rests on the top hopper. Clean up is quite easy if done right after using. All in all I would recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This batter dispenser works great for both thick and thin batters. If you make pancakes and cupcakes as often as me, this tool is a must have. My little ones like to help in this kitchen, and this tool minimizes the mess. It also saves me time as it is faster to pour batters. One of the great features is the rubber valve. It is wide which makes dispensing thick batters easy and fast. Also it is easy to clean.

I was never able to figure out how to get them thin and round... I would just stick to my waffle maker and move on. What I like about this batter dispenser is how easy it is to use. Just squeeze the handle and BOOM. Batter. In a circle. NO MESS. Maybe this isn’t a struggle for some people, but I am notoriously clumsy and, well, messy. So any tool that can help make a simple job, idiot proof, has me. I have used it not only for pancakes, but with eggs & cake batter too. I am just so pleased with my OXO precision batter dispenser!

The batter dispensed slowly which was nice for making mini pancakes but I could imagine it would be a bit annoying making full size pancakes or waffles. My batter was thicker so maybe that also made it slower. I used the lid to set the dispenser down between uses as a drip tray as the label said and it worked nicely. It was easy to clean so that was a plus! I’m excited to try this for filling muffin pans.

No more batter dripped all over the pan to burn in the over. I plan to use this to also make fun design/shaped pancakes for my kids :) they’ll love it!!

OXO once again mastered the design of this product and it's well worthy of having precision in it's name. Not a single drop was wasted and it was super easy to remove the valve to clean the thing. The batter was a tad on the thick side but caused no problems. My family and I may just end up making pancakes more often just because of this tool in our arsenal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is awesome!! Fitting four cups of batter seems like the perfect amount so far. I made a full batch of pancakes, about 16 1/4 cup size, and all of the batter fit in the dispenser no problem. This makes things SO much easier and less messy for dispensing. I’m excited to make cupcakes with this and not get the batter all over the place. Clean up was pretty easy. I initially let hot water soak in it as some of the batter had hardened on. I had a lot of water spots so I put it in the dishwasher. I’ll have to remember to put this on its side next time as it completely fill out with water even though I had taken off the part that closes the rubber.

So glad I was able to test this product and found it to be a great help for dispensing different types of batters, from cookie dough, pancake batter and cake mix for cupcakes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great idea, no mess, easy to clean and makes pancake and cup cakes a breeze. However, i had some issue with it when making pancake batter that’s a little lumpy. It didn’t flow well through the spout because the opening was not big enough for the lumps (needed for a fluffy pancakes). As you can see in the photos since it wasn’t flowing the pancake ended up with a weird shape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great tool for no-mess batter dispensing! I was able to make consistently sized pancakes and cupcakes. The batter dispenser was easy to use and clean up too! I suggest staying away from batters that are thick (e.g. muffin batter) and/or batters with bits of fruit/chocolate, as they can clog the spout. I also suggest being gentle with the handle. If you pull back too quickly or with too much grip force, the stopper for the spout dislodges. Other than the things I just mentioned, I love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OXO Good Grips Precision Batter Dispenser is pretty awesome. We tried it out by making pancakes! Very easy to use and clean. So easy my kids (8,7,5,4) were even able to operate it to make their own pancake! They were so pumped! The reservoir held almost our whole bowl of batter. I like that it’s slanted inside to get all of the batter out and it did pretty much that! The handle is comfortable and easy to operate, even for little hands! My only issue was my 7 year old was a little too excited and squeezed the handle too hard and the mechanism that keeps the batter from leaking out popped off. It was easy to pop back in, but not so easy when the dispenser is full of batter! I was also surprised by how very little mess was made. There was very minimal leaking from the dispenser, so very little clean up was needed! Overall I am loving it and can’t wait to try it out with some cupcakes and waffles!! Once again, great product OXO!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this late in February & was excited to try it. First I tried it with muffin batter. Too thick. Won’t use it for muffins. Then I tried it with pancake/waffle batter. It worked great! Easy to use & clean. Make sure to put the dispenser on its lid or a plate. It leaks a bit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love making pancakes, but I am forever making a mess with the batter. This batter dispenser makes it so easy. You can add ingredients and mix right in the dispenser, and clean up is a breeze. My only complaint is if you squeeze the handle too hard, the bottom pops off allowing the batter to flow freely in to your pan--creating a huge mess if you aren't careful. If that wasn't able to happen, this would be a 5-star product; thus, the 4-star rating.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this product, but it has some design flaws. I used this product to make waffles and pancakes, and both recipes had thick batters. The silicone valve doesn't open up enough to allow thick batter to flow through. If you squeeze the handle too hard the shut off mechanism pops apart. It is easy to get back together, but not when it's full off batter. I liked that it was dishwasher safe, and that the silicone valve detached for cleaning. I also liked that the lid doubled as a drip tray. It is lightweight and comfortable to use.

I, the kitchen cleaner, like the no mess feature. No drips all over the range. This dispenser is easy to use, easy to clean, and versatile.

I was so excited I ran into the kitchen and whipped up some pancake mix. Within minutes I had made a dozen pancakes of almost equal size. I cleaned up in seconds with hot water. I love this product just as much if not more than my other OXO products! If you have kid you NEED this.

Minor Improvements are that the batter tends to get stuck therefore I would have to cut the pancake squeezer rubber to be bigger. It’s a great product but it still needs some minor improvements.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to use this and it did not disappoint! I mixed my batter in a separate bowl then poured it into the dispenser. The batter came out perfectly when I pulled the handle. I was worried that it would leak when I let go so I kept a paper towel under the dispenser. It really didn’t leak a lot. Some batter cane off on the paper towel but it didn’t leak. I always struggle to use all the batter I prepare but this dispenser allowed me to use it all. Cleaning was very easy as well. I highly recommend this for all you pancake/waffle lovers!
