Looks nice but complicated

I ordered the shade because its material was exactly what I needed to match with an existing shade in a new house. It appears to be a sturdy and nice material. I'm returning it though because it does not work on the window, which wasn't clear from the website description. I thought the spool would mount into brackets like most shades - but that's not its design. Instead, there is a bar attached across the top of the shade and the entire bar needs to be installed into the top or front of a window sill. (For my window, there isn't room for that.) It was much more complicated than I anticipated, with the brackets having this specific way to detach (which wasn't explained in the instructions). Also, I don't know if this is the intended functionality but the shade does NOT raise when I tugged down, like happens on most cordless shades. There's no spring action on the product I received. I could hand-guide to push the shade back up, but that's not ideal.
